I experienced a bathroom in Missouri this week that was, um…notable.
This particular “fine dining” establishment has opted out of ladies’ room stall doors completely, leaving the two toilets in plain view.
There’s also full-length mirror in the bathroom which provides a clear reflection of yourself sitting on the closer of the two toilets.
And finally, the bathroom is laid out in such a way that anyone in the bar would be able to see the person on the first toilet if the door were opened.
You think I jest?
*sigh* What am I going to do with you, Missouri?

Oh dear…can’t wait to hear where THIS is!
I have NIGHTMARES about a similar setup! An endless labyrinth of exposed, very public toilets when you REALLY have to go, ugh, it’s terrifying! But who knew here in MO such a horror existed?! That’s it, I’m moving to Canada..
Really? That’s in a restaurant? I’ve seen stuff like that in park bathrooms, but, a restaurant? Wow.
I can only think of ONE thing to say, “WOW”.
I’ll make sure to get a good seat at the bar soon.
YIKES!! I had to read your blog after we talked on Thursday! I’ve seen similar bathrooms, and alas, one was even in NYC.
I think you should name the establishment so we can petition them for doors
