Did you know that Elephant Rocks is one of the best bouldering places in the midwest? Have you been, as a climber? After I found out about it I went back and tried to look at the big rocks with a climber’s eye and saw little chalk marks in all the little pinchy finger holes and it made me smile to realize that I’d probably seen them a million times and never realized it.

Yikes! You are so brave!!! Does your hiking other-half know that he cannot come back to Missouri if anything happens to you??? You’re going to have a wonderful trip, seeing old friends, climbing new mountains, and just getting away for a few days. Please find a way to let us know you are okay!
