Because she’s awesome like that, my Mom made sure that I had a hand-made card in the mail my first week living in Colorado Springs. This wasn’t technically my very first piece of mail, but it was among the first pieces, and it made me smile.

My mom is a talented and semi-professional card maker and a very popular paper crafting blogger. Here’s a post she wrote about the card photographed above.
