 This weekend is the 49th Annual Azalea Festival in a small, southeastern Missouri town called Fredericktown. The Azalea Festival includes fair rides, a 5K fun run, a 1 mile walk, a car show, a sand volleyball tournament, an arts & crafts fair, a parade, and a queen coronation, among plenty of other activities for kids [...] On Saturday, March 13th, I ran my longest road race to date. The St. Patrick’s Day Parade Run in St. Louis is a 5-mile run that drew more than 11,000 runners this year, many of whom were decked out in their funkiest green and clovers for the race.
