By Friday night of this week, I was almost entirely unpacked in my Colorado home. Seven days prior, I’d been en route to St. Louis for my going away party, where dozens of friends stopped by to wish me well. Now I was alone in Colorado Springs, feeling melancholy about what I’d left behind in Missouri [...] I love music. I’m nervous, excited and sad to share with you the news that my years of blogging from rural Missouri have come to an end. On August 21st, I’ll be leaving my one-room cabin in rural Missouri to begin a new phase in my life and my career in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
