On Saturday, March 13th, I ran my longest road race to date. The St. Patrick’s Day Parade Run in St. Louis is a 5-mile run that drew more than 11,000 runners this year, many of whom were decked out in their funkiest green and clovers for the race. Since I live and work so far from St. Louis, I try to organize tweet-ups when I know I’ll be in or near the city and will have free time after work. Friday, February 12th was one of those days. Since everal St. Louis-area tweeps live in West County St. Louis or in St. Charles [...] The latest St. Louis-area twitter meet-up took place on Tuesday night in O’Fallon, Missouri. A small group of hard core tweeps bundled up for the cool air and fought St. Louis rainy day traffic to walk through the Celebration of Lights. I’m still buzzing with energy from a speaking enegagement by @Jack Dorsey, co-founder/CEO/Creator of Twitter, this morning at Webster University (#jackatwebster) and a great lunchtime tweet-up (#jacknotatlunch) at Llwelyn’s Pub in Webster Groves. *** |
