On Friday, May 14th, a dozen or so St. Louis-area tweeps gathered to inaugurate The Silver Ballroom, in its punk rock pinball glory, to the annals of St. Louis twitter history. I’m perpetually on the lookout for things about St. Louis that would surprise people. The Silver Ballroom certainly qualifies as a pleasant St. Louis surprise. [...] On Saturday, March 13th, I ran my longest road race to date. The St. Patrick’s Day Parade Run in St. Louis is a 5-mile run that drew more than 11,000 runners this year, many of whom were decked out in their funkiest green and clovers for the race. Since I live and work so far from St. Louis, I try to organize tweet-ups when I know I’ll be in or near the city and will have free time after work. Friday, February 12th was one of those days.
