I found your blog refreshing and decided to share your "I Miss NYC" post with a friend who is a talk radio producer with a major network in NYC. Don't be surprised if you get a call. Take care.

Oh wow. I just read your "I miss New York" post. I could have written every word in it! I'm here in London, where I've been living now for 5 years, and it's a great and wonderful city but I still miss my beloved New York City every single day. I know that deep aching longing and loneliness for a place or a time in your life when and where everything seemed so possible and you seemed to be at the centre of everything. Even having no money for the first 4 years didn't matter! I don't know what I miss - the place, the people, what it represented or who I was when I lived there - but that city gets down deep into your bones and won't let go. Thanks for that beautiful post - it has moved me and comforted me to know that I'm not alone with this endless homesickness for something or sometime I can't get back to.

Hey,
My friend Dolly is biking accross the country and will be in Farmington by late next week. I'm planning to send her a care package to the Farmington post office and thought it would be cool to have a gift certificate with a local restaurant - she's been biking and eating who knows what for camp food - do you have any suggestions for a nice/good restaurant where she can get a great meal? she tends to like the healthy aspect of food... :)
I stumbled upon your blog while trying to find out more about the place... hope you don't mind my contacting you for input!
Thanks!
Julia
